What all kids want to know…

All boys and girls want and need to explore their world. They want to know why? and how? about everything and they want to be a protagonist in whatever is going on. This is human nature and the key to our progress.

In a world which is increasingly sophisticated and complicated, with ever more things to explore and ways to do it, the questions of why?, how?, and where do I fit in? are occurring sooner and with more urgency!

The problem is that the answers are not always forthcoming. And that is because the answers must come from you, the young people yourselves. But in order to find these answers you must be able to know the options and to consider them all in the light of your own unique personality.

Understanding the laws of cause and effect is for a later stage and it is best to discover and consider all your life-options as soon as possible.

This is why Alive to the World® was developed. In our books you will find the story of a boy and his cousin Alice and their big group of friends. It is a very varied group of personalities… everyone is different. With them, through the story, you will encounter a many situations, very similar to the ones you will be living.

The events in the story, as well as the discussions you will have with your classmates, in and out of class, will give you opportunities to see yourself in many different situations and you will be able to form your own opinions and ideas about important aspects of your life like friendship, integrity, love, sex, and your own personal project and ambitions in life.

This is a course that has no homework, and no exams. It is only to learn, take on and do what is best for you and your life. We hope you enjoy it!
